They are french canadian, as I am, but I don't know if the are in Quebec or elsewhere, pretty funny! I'm just wondering if something like this could happen with real ammo. Maybe it is what they call friendly fire?
Judging from the accent, they are indeed in Qc, as, as you put it, I am.
Definitely French Canadians from Quebec and definitely fake.
